Concorde’ s overall investment programme is centred around innovation and development, focusing on how it can further improve its operations for its clients and workforce alike. Over the past couple of years in particular, the company has invested heavily into its Nottingham operations, purchasing and refurbishing a new office that brought all its teams under one roof. As a testament to this advancement, Concorde achieved the title of SME of the Year at the Constructing Excellence Awards for the Nottingham region. What’ s more, Concorde’ s Managing Director, Richard Wilson, was awarded Fit Out Leader of the Year, further exemplifying the company’ s success.
“ We’ ve invested a lot into our Nottingham operations over the past couple of years. We bought a new office there, undergone a full refurbishment, and brought all our teams under that one roof to provide reactive and planned maintenance services,” Sophie reflects.“ Winning the
award was amazing and meant so much to the team. The recognition for the changes we’ d made gave us all a real morale boost.”
Springboarding off its previous successes, Concorde is excited to continue to grow and evolve, expanding its services and solutions to new horizons. With its digitalisation strategy in place, the company is well-positioned for the future, moving forward with its dedicated team to take on more projects, both designing and building.
“ We want to really embed our new software within the team so that it becomes second nature, and we can move forward positively. We’ re going to continue to look at new clients in new markets; there’ s a lot going on at the moment and it’ s shaping up to be a very exciting year. We’ ve currently got the biggest design team that we’ ve ever had and we’ re working on a great range of interior design projects. We have such a robust set of skills within the business; no two days are the same,” Sophie concludes. ■
