invested heavily in technology, IT, and its management systems over the past few years, implemented to further enhance its procurement and supplier integration processes whilst supporting its larger-scale projects as it continues to grow.
Commitment to innovation
Louise Smith, Company Secretary, states:“ Over the course of the past few years, we have heavily invested in our IT and management system, maximising our usage of the latest technology available to streamline our productivity and performance,” Rob explains.“ An area of focus for us has been undertaking site audits live via an application on mobile phones and tablets whilst on site. We have recently introduced a pre-induction process for operatives coming to work on our sites via an application, which has significantly reduced the time required for a site induction. Our suppliers have embraced our advancement in new technologies, with many following suit on similar systems. The pre-induction process via the application has been hugely successful with our suppliers; once they have successfully completed the pre-induction process, they are not required to complete another pre-induction should they move onto one of our other construction sites.”
By virtue of this unwavering commitment to innovation, A & H Construction has extended its expertise to a multitude of projects throughout the country – all varying in size, scale, and complexity. The company consistently provides fully integrated services to its clients. Working from initial design conception through to robust construction and delivery, it upholds the highest standards of quality, value, and proficiency. Reflecting on both the year just passed and the pipeline ahead, Steve and Rob share some of the recent projects that showcase the very best of A & H Construction’ s capabilities, starting with its ongoing development at Silverstone Park, Towcester.
