These major growth predictions are further supported by the news that Levenseat is now commissioning a new £ 10 million Materials Recycling Facility in Falkirk . The business has invested over £ 4 million on installing modern and innovative technology and handling equipment for the facility which has been upgraded and automated to optimise its capacity and maximise recovery from waste . The new facility will support the local council ’ s efforts to reach its recycling targets and will generate 50 new employment opportunities for local residents .
Commitments to sustainability and supporting the local community are of paramount importance to the business , which is demonstrated through the establishment of the Levenseat Trust in 1997 . The trust is a registered charity which undertakes and supports projects aimed at improving the environment for the benefit of local people .
