Hoping to contribute to the emissionfree construction site , climate-friendly equipment is one the company ’ s main focus points . The business has invested in a broad portfolio of electric and battery powered machines and is currently in the process of preparing the larger machines to operate on biofuel to reduce carbon emissions on Danish construction sites . GSV shares its machines across Denmark to reduce resource consumption as well as ensuring that it does not put more large and heavy machines into production than is strictly necessary .
In 2021 , it apportioned 75 percent of its investment budget to environmentally friendly equipment and has also invested in green certified electricity and LED lightbulbs in every department . People and partnerships equally form an important part of the company ’ s green strategy , hosting the “ Construction of the future ” conference which brings together decision makers from across the supply chain and advocating for the reduction of CO2 in building and construction processes .
