Statom takes its commitment to the health , safety and wellbeing of its team very seriously
staff and site teams as a result of an increased on-site safety team presence . The Statom behavioural safety programme focuses on the long-term behavioural shifts which the company is implementing to support a culture of safety , both on and off-site , across its projects and departments . It pledges to continue growing this culture of safety across the group by providing training to all staff on how to be technically safe whilst encouraging the right attitude to ensure safety practices are consistently adhered to .
Mental health is another key area of focus for the business . Several measures have been implemented to help the workforce feel supported , including the presence of mental health first aiders whose role is to conduct
talks with staff members , ensuring that they are aware of the support which is available to them .
Work within the local community and in support of charitable organisations is equally prioritised at Statom , which takes its responsibility of making a positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged people in the community very seriously . The company regularly brings together its family of staff , clients , suppliers and partners to organise a range of fundraising events taking place throughout the year .
