Tru7 Group _________________________________________________________________________________________
Tru7 remains a force to be reckoned with , and an ongoing reminder of the hard work of the man who started it all
the business into a multi-million-pound operation with 4500 pieces of plant .
His chapter with Fork Rent reads much like his father ’ s , and , after years of commitment , both Guy and Trudi decided it was time to sell . Fork Rent was bought in August 2015 by venture capitalists , who simultaneously bought One Call Hire to create Ardent Hire Solutions .
It was a lucrative deal . Fork Rent had featured in the annual Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 league table , where it was ranked 77th , with an annual profit of £ 6.82 million . But Guy had his sights set on a bigger enterprise that would be established using the seed funding from his share of the sale . Foundations for Tru7 continued when Guy bought the Sinks Pit in Kesgrave and spent £ 5.5 million on clearing the site and building an impressive glass and steel headquarters . The company was initially made up of two divisions – Trucks ‘ R ’ Us and Tippers ‘ R ’ Us – which became the enterprise of Tru7 , along with Clarke Demolition , which Guy purchased in 2017 .

Fortunately , Guy did not need to search far , as Jake , his son , has continued to show growing interest in the company . Over the last five years , Jake has introduced a fleet of bulldozers and single-handedly created a new division to the business specialising in earthworks which now contributes £ 9 million to the annual turnover .
Today , the company is best known as owner of the Trucks ‘ R ’ Us and Tippers ‘ R ’ Us vehicle hire brands , but it also supplies a wide range of premium vehicles , operators and materials to British construction and allied industries .
Additionally , it employs 300 people , with a wide offering of van , truck , and plant rentals and sales , demolition and remediation , earthworks , asbestos removal , concrete , and
