workload and high standards . Of course , this approach is applicable to our own workforce too , as they are the ones who ensure smooth project delivery .”
Aside from its client base , Kingsheath Construction also recognises the importance of its fleet in ensuring project success . “ Expanding our fleet of equipment is always a priority , not only to keep up with modern technology and ensure we ’ re using the most efficient machinery , but also to reduce both our running costs and environmental impact ,” Jamie proposes . “ For these reasons , we plan to make further investments in our plant and equipment over the coming years .
“ Most recently , we ’ ve invested in a vacuum excavator to allow for the safe excavation of pits around live services . This minimises the hazards involved when working around live services and frees up our excavators and workforce to continue working in other areas . We ’ ve also invested in a fleet of new cabbed dumpers , which are more efficient and safer than our previous fleet . To ensure our staff are confident in using our new and existing machinery , we ’ re also investing in extensive training to support and upskill our labour force .”
With a mutual focus on maintaining quality , Kingsheath Construction is sure to continue its current growth trajectory . When asked about the future of the company , Jamie concludes : “ We have a very healthy order book for the remainder of 2024 , and we ’ re looking forward to continuing negotiations and working with some new clients . In terms of figures , our goal for 2024 is £ 50 million turnover , and we hope to increase this further to £ 60 million in 2025 . We expect continued growth and investment beyond 2025 , as we ’ ll look to expand our services and reach new regions in the South East of England .” ■
