With an impressive fleet of stabilising equipment which includes Wirtgen mixers , Streumaster spreaders , and water injection bowsers , the company ’ s services span ground improvement and soil modification , rolling dynamic compaction , and lime and cement stabilisation .
To manage its extensive fleet , Collins founded Collins Transport in 2008 . Not only does the division look after Collins ’ fleet , but it also manages over 7000 movements of heavy plant equipment each year , offering competitive prices for a variety of haulage requirements . This division also includes road sweeper hire as well as muck away and aggregates services . Collins ’ fleet of more than 50 8x wheel tippers and 15 articulated tippers enables the business
to supply quality recycled and quarried aggregates nationwide .

Recycling and waste management is an integral part of any earthworks project , and Collins offers this service as part of site preparation and remediation or as a standalone project . With environmental impact at the forefront of its operations , Collins aims to recycle upwards of 95 per cent of its own on-site waste , as well as continuously sourcing lower carbon solutions .
Collins ’ dedicated recycling facility in Kirkby-in-Ashfield processes a variety of construction and demolition waste into certified aggregates , which can be used in a variety of applications within the construction and landscaping industries .
