to secure and execute significant drylining contracts, including its drylining work on Berkeley Group Plc’ s landmark Bethnal Green development, which aims to deliver 555 new homes across three acres. The project highlights TudorMay’ s ability to remain adaptable and solutions-focused while delivering against its long-term objectives.“ The project has realised a small delay against the original delivery programme as the existing steelwork needed to be treated, but we’ ve now completed around 55 per cent of the project. It’ s a prime example of how we’ ve had to be fluid in our approach where things haven’ t necessarily gone as planned. That said it continues to be an incredible project to be involved in,” Sam affirms.
Building on the momentum of the Bethnal Green development, TudorMay’ s project portfolio continues to expand across both residential and specialist schemes.
This breadth of work demonstrates not only its capability in delivering complex drylining packages, but also its growing presence across wider construction disciplines for a range of trusted clients, such as Watkin Jones and Arada.
“ Grove Cresent is a student accommodation scheme that we’ re delivering for Watkin Jones, who are a valued client. We’ ve now completed the onsite works, so the rooms are all ready to be occupied in the next academic year. We delivered the project with a strong performance and, on the back of that, we’ re now excited to have secured our next project with Watkin Jones, New Kent Road,” Sam details.
“ We’ re also proud to have recently secured a project for Arada. It’ s a really stunning facade project called Chalk Farm, where we’ ll be completing the SFS, windows, curtain wall, terracotta cladding, and metal cladding; it’ s a bit of a statement project for us. We’ re really looking forward to developing a strong relationship with Arada on the back of that job and we’ re hoping to add a couple of other disciplines to that scheme as well.”
Prioritising people, processes, and procedures
Looking ahead, TudorMay’ s focus remains firmly on maintaining quality, consistency, and a strong internal culture as the foundations for continued growth. While market conditions will inevitably continue to shift, the company’ s disciplined approach, adaptable mindset, and commitment to its people ensure it is well placed to navigate future challenges.
“ Our main priority, first and foremost, is to maintain our standards,” Sam emphasises.“ For me, our focus at TudorMay is doing the right things properly and consistently. As we grow, we’ ll continue to manage our own KPIs internally, hold ourselves accountable, and deal with problems head-on. Alongside that, we’ ll keep striving to better ourselves and our environment. We want everyone who works
